CRUTECH Final Year Student killed During Student week (Graphic photos)

At about 3:09pm on Thursday October 3rd 2019, a student of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) was killed. This happened as students were practicing for their cultural day parade in the school vicinity. A final year student identified as Felix, of the department of Elementary Education was shot dead by suspected cult groups.

The students were opposite the SUG secretariat in preparation for the cultural day an event in the student week when the incident happened. This left a lot of people confused, as they laid on the ground to take shelter as gun shots were fired sporadically in the air. There are also reports that the decease is a boss in a popular cult in the school.
